It may seem like Solange has been lurking in sister Beyoncé's shadows for a long time now, but the talented writer (she helped pen Beyoncé hits "Upgrade U" and "Get Me Bodied") is also a singer and she's ready to show the world what she's all about with her new album, SoL-Angel & the Hadley Street Dreams.

On Tuesday, Seventeen sat down with Matthew Knowles, Solange and Beyoncé's father, to hear the tracks off the new album and we were literally dancing around in our chairs to "Sandcastle Disco," "T.O.N.Y.," and the first single, "I Decided."

While most people expect Solange (which means "soul angel" in French) to sound like Beyoncé, she actually has a very unique sound of her own. It's like an up-tempo Alicia Keys mixed with the Supremes (the Supremes' music coincidentally sounds a lot like the music from Dreamgirls!).

Solange's first single, "I Decided," is being released in two versions, and Seventeen has the exclusive stream of the Freemason's remix. Hear the song now and let us know what you think below!
